THE SOUND OF MUSIC

Growing up with a lot of cousins close to my age we were never bored. There was always something going on, places to explore, things to try out, games to play and so much more. My childhood was filled with so much laughter, joy, tears and fights with each other. Our common playground was the ancestral house of my grandparents. She had a huge lawn just perfect for us kids. The house also boast huge and spacious veranda that surrounded almost half the length of the house. My grandparents also had a piano that we kids get to play with. We never did get to learn to play the piano properly since we were much to busy playing with each other. Every one in the family tried to encourage us though when we would sit there and try to play with the piano. What we mostly did was pound on the piano chords and just sing along as we pretended to be good at it.

Now with my two girls I would love for them to really learn how to play the piano. Our youngest who will turn 2 years old next month has been showing a lot of interest with music and she loves pounding on her little piano toy. When we were at my relatives place in NJ last fourth of July she was sitting in front of there piano and trying to play it like she knew how to. She tried to imitate the other kids who were playing the piano. She loves the feel of the piano chords under her hands and smiles when she hears music coming from the piano. At least I know now that letting my kids learn the piano wont be as expensive and time consuming as I thought it would be. You can now learn to play the piano by getting the complete set of Definitive Piano Improvisation DVD Home-Study Course from a professional piano teacher. If you have kids and want them to learn a musical instrument like the piano check out the links above for more details.
