Booo! I guess everybody is getting ready for the upcoming trick or treat in a couple of days. We are all set since we got Kaitlyn's costume last week, the candies are already in our Halloween basket ready to be given away. So what does a mama like me do on her free time? I watch jewelry auction on the television. It amazes me how strong the value of gold is in the jewelry business. A lot of jewelry designs are still made out of gold and other precious gems. My husband prefers the color, shine and luster of gold. With the value of gold sky rocketing, it's no wonder there are a lot of companies out there who are willing to pay top cash for old gold jewelry.
My SIL's 89 yr. old grandfather loves collecting the different coins of the each state in the United States of America. I have overheard him one time saying about buying a gold coin for his coin collection. If I don't know he already has a small size collection of gold coins and as well as his regular coin collection. Pops must have an in site about gold not every loosing its value. I wonder if he will ever think about adding gold bullion in his collection to make it more complete. As for me I am so close to buying a couple of nice set of jewelry for myself. I better put that on my Christmas wish list and hope hubby will get it for me.
